We help children aged 1-14 who need assistance with reaching their developmental potential through Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, EIP and Physiotherapy for children who experience difficulties with balance, co-ordination & movement, fine motor skills, visual perceptual skills, sensory processing difficulties, emotional regulation and more. We assist children with Autism, ADHD, GDD, Down Syndrome & More, in a well equipped classrooms and fun therapy gym.

Early Intervention Program (EIP)

We support children in building core developmental skills through structured learning, guided activities, and targeted interventions.

Our EIP helps improve communication, behavior, social interaction, learning readiness, and daily living skills.

Speech & Language Therapy (ST)

We help children develop communication, expressive language, understanding, and social interaction skills. Therapy is designed to support speech clarity, vocabulary, comprehension, and confidence in daily communication.

Occupational Therapy for Children (OT)

We help children build the skills they need for daily activities, learning, attention, play, and self-regulation. Our OT sessions support fine motor skills, sensory processing, handwriting, behaviour, coordination, independence, and emotional development.

Playgroups

Our playgroups provide a safe and social environment where children improve interaction, sharing, turn-taking, and early play skills. Activities are guided to support communication, sensory exploration, and learning through play.

PhysioTherapy

We help children improve their motor skills, balance, strength, coordination, and overall physical development. Our sessions support mobility, posture, endurance, and confidence in movement through guided exercises and play-based activities.

After School Program (ASP)

We provide structured after-school sessions that help children strengthen academics, behaviour, routines, independence, and social skills. The program supports homework, life skills, and guided play in a calm learning environment.

At YoungFerns, we offer a variety of groups designed to support your child in practising and developing new cognitive skills. Our aim is to help children with developmental delays grow in confidence, build resilience, and strengthen healthy self-esteem, all within a safe, supportive group environment.

We are a team of experienced & Licensed Pediatric Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists who support children with developmental delays, learning difficulties, balance and co-ordination difficulties, self esteem and sensory processing challenges, to reach their full potential. We are based in Ipoh and support children and families, we believe all children have the right to quality of life. Our programs span the physical, mental and emotional needs of the children in our care, and their families, so they are always supported in the way they need it most. The first of its kind in Ipoh, YoungFerns Center is the vision of our patrons. After seeing firsthand the benefits of dedicated children’s centers in the UK, YoungFerns vowed to bring the same level of care and services to Malaysia. We welcome people from all backgrounds and respect that the families we support are different in many ways including, language, ethnicity, socio-economic status, religion and ability.
