Yes, 100%. Every therapist at YOUNGFERNS holds a valid MAH (Malaysian Allied Health) professional licence. This is a non-negotiable requirement for all clinical staff at our centre in Ipoh.

The YoungFerns Developmental Index (YfDI) is a proprietary assessment framework we developed ourselves, specifically for Malaysian children and families in Ipoh, Perak. It assesses children across six developmental domains (communication, sensory-motor, cognitive, adaptive behaviour, social-emotional and learning readiness) to build more precise, personalised therapy plans. YfDI reports are accepted by schools, government agencies and paediatricians across Ipoh and Perak.

Our EIP daily classes start at 7:30 AM, Monday to Friday. Individual therapy sessions run from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM on weekdays. Saturday sessions are available 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

We help children aged 1 to 14 years in Ipoh, Perak. Early intervention is most effective from ages 1–6, but we continue supporting older children through school-age therapy and after-school programmes.

EIP (Early Intervention Program) is an intensive daily programme (Mon–Fri, 7:30 AM) in small groups for children aged 1–7. Each child follows their own Individualised Education Plan (IEP) with SMART goals, reviewed monthly with parents. It develops communication, behaviour, social skills and school readiness. Children who complete EIP are significantly more likely to transition into mainstream schools in Ipoh.

Yes. Our team includes Mandarin-speaking therapists. We communicate in the language most comfortable for your family, English, Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin.
