Our psychology team at YOUNGFERNS Ipoh provides comprehensive developmental assessments for children suspected of ASD, ADHD, intellectual disability, learning difficulties and more. We use our own YfDI assessment framework alongside internationally recognised, standardised tools, including ADOS-2, M-CHAT-R/F, the Wechsler scales (WISC-V / WPPSI-IV), Vineland-3, Conners 3 and Griffiths III, to build a complete developmental profile.
All YfDI assessment reports are accepted by schools, government agencies and paediatricians across Ipoh and Perak, making them useful for school placement, OKU registration and support applications.
Assessment involves 2–3 sessions with our psychologist. We assess your child across six domains using the YfDI framework: communication, sensory-motor, cognitive, adaptive behaviour, social-emotional and learning readiness. You receive a detailed written report with clear, practical recommendations. We also offer behaviour support sessions and parent coaching.
