About This Program

Special Education in Ipoh, Perak

Our Special Education programme at YOUNGFERNS Ipoh bridges the gap between clinical therapy and academic learning. Led by our experienced Special Needs Teachers, it provides structured academic instruction, literacy and numeracy development, and school readiness preparation, all tailored to each child's unique learning profile.

Many of our Special Education students are EIP graduates transitioning into mainstream primary schools across Ipoh and Perak, or school-aged children who need additional academic support alongside their other therapy programmes.

Who Is This For?

✓ Children transitioning from our EIP programme into mainstream schooling in Ipoh
✓ Children with dyslexia, dysgraphia or dyscalculia
✓ Children with intellectual disability who need a modified curriculum
✓ After-school academic support for children aged 6–14 with ASD or ADHD

What Happens in a Session?

Sessions are structured around each child's IEP and learning profile. We use multisensory teaching methods, combining visual, auditory and kinaesthetic approaches, to make learning accessible and enjoyable. Progress is reviewed monthly with parents, with clear academic goals at each stage.
